Both sides of the divide have their set of idiots and have their own set of followers who listen to them and believe them. It is just a question of which idiot is able to drum up a greater following of idiots. Signs are already showing.
In Math, for example, where India was supposed to be a leader, we collectively have fallen off the ladder (recent data on the number of children from different countries who perform brilliantly in Math Olympiads shows that there are none in the top 10 countries).
Children have started believing more on "WhatsApp University" education than they do on their teachers.
As I said, we just creating a bigger generation of idiots. Yes, we will be smart in creating businesses which are smarter extensions of "Dalali/brokering", the middleman expertise, but we will rarely see "things" created that can transform lives.
